Question 1

Is a south-facing or west-facing house bad as per Vastu?

Accepted Answer

No. No direction is inherently bad. A south or west facing house can be highly prosperous when the entrance is placed in the correct pada, and when the kitchen, bedrooms, water sources and heavy storage sit in the right zones. The facing direction alone never decides whether a property is suitable.

Question 2

Which direction is best for the main entrance and master bedroom?

Accepted Answer

North, east and north-east entrances are generally favoured for the flow of positive energy, though the correct pada within any facing matters more than the facing itself. The master bedroom is traditionally placed in the south-west, which supports stability, rest and authority for the head of the family.

Question 3

Can a Vastu consultation be done from just a floor plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A dimensioned floor plan with the correct north direction marked is enough for a detailed analysis. Photographs of the entrance, kitchen, bedrooms and surroundings help us refine the advice further, and a site visit can be arranged when the property is complex.

Question 4

What is the right time to take Vastu advice for a new home?

Accepted Answer

The earlier the better. Advice at the plot selection or design stage costs nothing to implement, because the layout can simply be drawn correctly. Guidance is still valuable after construction, but remedies then work around what is already built.

Question 5

Does Vastu apply to offices, shops and factories too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Commercial and industrial spaces have their own principles covering the owner's cabin, cash position, reception, production flow, raw material storage and finished goods. These are reviewed against the nature of your business rather than applied as generic home rules.
